Whitebird

Whitebird is an approachable, fine-dining restaurant within The Edwin Hotel and nestled at the foot of Chattanooga’s historic Walnut Street Bridge. Designed to accommodate roughly 125 guests and host both private dining and Chef’s Table events, the space boasts beautiful views of the Tennessee River and an impressive collection of local artwork. The naming convention, visual identity and brand was inspired by the founder of Chattanooga, Chief John Ross, whose Cherokee name was “Mysterious Little Whitebird.”

The hotel is owned and operated by Vision Hospitality Group and in her previous role with the company, Ashley Ewing Parrott was responsible for the following work on The Edwin and Whitebird’s development and opening:

  • Project management - led brand development, ID, and affiliation
  • Art curation and procurement
  • Interior and exterior styling
  • Interior and exterior signage design
